September 25:

Fix for exception being thrown on Add new mentor via Edit mentor modal in the opportunity wizard was deployed. 

Fix for username update not working for Educators from Student profile page. 

Fix for Wishlist Available email notification email sent from. It will now be sent from notifications@imblaze.org.

Fix for Compliance not expiring on expiration date


September 19:

Contact Mentor action from Students tab showed the confirmation modal for password reset instead of the mentor details.

Attendance Export did not include time logs of deactivated students.

If a student did not have any active requests, the opportunity search would redirect the user to the same Home page instead of showing the search results.



September 11:

Hotfix - Fix deployed for exception thrown while adding a new organization via Opportunity details -> Edit Organization -> 'add a new organization' path.

Minor Fix - Once the student navigates to the opp. details page from the search results, the Back button used to say - Back to Opportunities, it will now say 'Back to Search Results'.


September 1:

Android apps - Update was released last Friday for ImBlazeStudent and BU Navigator apps to handle Google mandated SDK updates. The same is planned for Educator apps this week.

Bug Fix - Photo upload not working for Drafts.

Bug Fix - Page not loading when student search did not return any results

Bug Fix - Fixed the issue with internship request name not getting updated on Internship name update.

Attendance Export - Date Format - The formatting of date values in the Attendance export will be based on the user locale.

Add / Edit Time Entry

  • Educators will be able to add time entry with only Check-In time.

  • In the Attendance tabs, Check-In and Check-Out edit modal will now show both Check-In & Out times. Previously it used to be only either Check-In / Out depending on where the user clicked.

Attendance Export - Size Limit - Salesforce has limits on the data size & the time it takes for exporting large no. of records. To handle this, we have this solution in place now:

  • If the #records < 2500, immediate export will be done.

  • If #records > 2500 & < 5000 , the export will happen in the background. Once completed the user will receive an email with a link to the export file.

  • If >5000, user will be asked to modify the date filter or adjust selected fields or get in touch with their ImBlaze representative.

  • Appropriate messages will be shown in all these cases.

  • The limits were decided based on the field length, probability of actual record size and these limits are also configurable ( at an org level).
